A Structured Wiring System installed by Fx Enhancements consists of many features and benefits. Structured Wiring consists of multiple bundled cable locations all “home run” into a centrally located panel. This bundled cable consists of a variety of different wires all jacketed together to make one cable. The different wires contained in this cable will support all Phone, Data (Computer), and TV applications needed in today’s homes. The centrally located panel contains different hubs to terminate the different wire types. Typically there is a separate hub for Phone, Data, and TV. This provides for a much superior system than that of the type that is typically installed in the average home. In each room where the bundled cable is installed there is a single multi-function wall plate that houses ports for phone, computers, or TV’s to be connected. A Structured Wiring package will improve the resale value of your home and allow for future upgrades to be installed.
With a Fx Enhancements Structured Wiring package you will have access to 1-4 different phone lines at each multi-function wall plate location. Because all the phone lines have been “home run” and terminated on a phone hub located in the structured wiring panel, they will be free of static and crosstalk will be eliminated.
You will also have the ability to network multiple computers together within the home. This will allow all the computers on the network to share a single high-speed Cable or DSL modem, printer, or scanner. This will give every computer high-speed internet and eliminate extra monthly service fees.
A Structured Wiring system will feature an amplified TV hub that all of the TV wiring will connect to. This hub is also located in the centrally located panel. This will ensure that all of the TV’s in the house have a clear and uniform picture quality.
A Fx Enhancements Structured Wiring package will give you the ability to have a Multi-Room Video system. With this type of system you can program different sources (DVD, DSS, VCR, etc.) to a certain unused TV channel. If you program the DVD player, located in the theater room, to a certain channel then any TV in the house that is tuned to that channel will display the picture and sound from that DVD player.
